The new Lich King (Jailer of the damned)??

Bolvar at the Battle of Angrathar at Wrathgate

Highlord Bolvar Fordragon was a venerated warrior of the Alliance and served as the Regent of Stormwind following the disappearance of King Varian Wrynn. Upon Varian's return, Bolvar was named the commander of the Alliance forces sent to take the battle to the Scourge in Northrend. After the treachery of Grand Apothecary Putress at the Battle of Angrathar the Wrathgate, Fordragon was believed to have been killed, either by the Forsaken Blight or the fires of the red dragonflight.

However, Fordragon survived, his body altered by the dragons' flame, and was taken by the Scourge into Icecrown Citadel, tortured by the Lich King in an attempt to break him to his will. However, the noble spirit of Fordragon resisted the Lich King's deprevations. After the death of Arthas Menethil, the mortal host of the Lich King, Fordragon demanded that Tirion Fordring place the Helm of Domination, containing all of the powers of the Scourge, on his head, so that he would forever be the jailer of the damned - imprisoning the Lich King within the Frozen Throne once more and containing the threat of the Scourge.

oh man! I really love this word! feel so heroic!

"Tell them only that the Lich King is dead. And that Bolvar Fordragon... died with him."
—Bolvar Fordragon to Tirion Fordring, after being crowned the new Lich King.

The Past memories of Arthas Menethil

Arthas Menethil, Crown Prince of Lordaeron and Knight of the Silver Hand, was the son of King Terenas Menethil II and heir to the throne. He was trained as a paladin by Uther the Lightbringer, and had a romantic relationship with the kind sorceress Jaina Proudmoore.

Despite his promising beginnings, Arthas became one of the most powerful and evil beings Azeroth would ever know. Taking up the cursed runeblade Frostmourne, he became a death knight, led the Scourge in destroying Lordaeron, and merged with the Lich King.

Ruling as the dominant personality of the Lich King for years afterwards, Arthas was defeated in combat by adventurers of the Alliance and the Horde. Cradled by the spirit of his father, King Terenas, Arthas Menethil died, leaving the mantle of the Lich King to be taken by a noble soul who would contain the power of the Scourge.

The Death of Arthas Menethil

R.I.P ~Arthas~
Arthas: "Father! Is it over?"
Terenas: "At long last. No kings rules forever, my son. But you going to die again in next week coz of raid reset! hehehe!"
Arthas: " Nooooo~ I see only darkness for me.."

Ultimately, Arthas' plans were foiled when Tirion Fordring destroyed Frostmourne with the Ashbringer, releasing the souls inside (Arthas' included). As he lay dying, comforted by the spirit of his father, Arthas asked if it was over, to which Terenas replied "At long last. No king rules forever, my son". Arthas then claimed to see only darkness before him, with his eyes rolling back and his hand falling lifelessly to the ground.

Let us mourned for his death.
I'll be updating some history about Arthas later...
